YIkes! Someone was a little heavy handed with the Photoshop on this Kate Middleton cover
Media outlets across the globe are having a laugh at Australian Woman’s Day for making the Duchess of Cambridge look ghastly.
Middleton looked lovely as ever when she attended the opening of the Kensington Leisure Centre in London last week.
However, the photograph of Kate Middleton from the same event, published on the cover of Woman’s Day, looks very different.
In the cover image the Duchess has a different skin tone, more make-up and an added sparkle to her earring.
Here’s what they added that we can’t deal with:
1. Bags and lines under eyes. We know she’s a busy mom, but really tho?
2. Too-dark berry stain to her lips. Has she been feasting on the blood of her enemies or nah?
3. A cartoonish sparkle to her earring. We don’t need Photoshop to remind us her bling bling ain’t CZ.
According to ET, mags have been going pretty hard with the photoshop lately.
Photoshop on magazine covers has been criticized heavily lately, specifically In Touch’s recent controversial Bruce Jenner cover, in which the publication superimposed the former Olympian’s face onto Dynasty actress Stephanie Beacham to make it appear as if he was wearing makeup and women’s clothing. The accompanying headline read, “My Life as a Woman.”
The Kardashian-Jenner women rallied around Bruce shortly after the cover came out, with a photo of Kim, 34, Kendall, 19, Kylie, 17, Kourtney, 35, and Khloe, 30, surrounding Bruce on a couch with the caption “Family First.
Here’s the original photo.
PRINCE HARRY TAKES ON A NEW JOB
Meanwhile for the next few months, Prince Harry’s main gig will be making sure that injured soldiers have access to recovery plans.
People reports Harry is working with the UK armed forces’ Personal Recovery unit as a natural second act to his leadership of the Invictus Games.
Says a source: “[Harry] has a chance at the moment to use his military job to get a better understanding and experience of the process and help put procedures in place to help those who have been wounded.”
